My last day with Tyco

Tomorrow is my last day at Tyco Fire, Security & Services.

Having mixed feelings right now... part of me misses the people, the friends I've made and the never-ending work given to me. Part of me rejoy and celebrate that I don't have to travel that long long journey to office anymore. Part of me excited abt starting work next week and facing new challenges. Part of me worried abt inter-personal relationship @new workplace n building of rapport... etc...

In work, one is not like during school days, you can be individual, even if nobody talks to you in class, life still goes on. You take the exam yourself, you get the grades you deserve. In work, teamwork is important. At the same time, getting the right people to like you is also important. It's not boot-licking, but you have to know how to let the right people know you're working and what you've done. Climbing the corporate ladder is never easy.. you can never attain it by just working hard yourself. Work smart, not just hard!

Anyway, I'm going dinner with some 10+ colleagues tomorrow. We'll be going Riverside Indonesian Restaurant at Riverside Pt, Clarke Quay.... will update on the food soon............. Stay tuned!!

p.s. 5, thanks for dropping the note... hahaha
